Selby Acupuncture Clinic is run by Phil Montgomery

I became interested in acupuncture following a herniated disc in my back that resulted in surgery.

Acupuncture alleviated the pain and put me back on the road to recovery. This sparked an interest in healing that led me to attend three years at The Northern College of Acupuncture in York studying Traditional Chinese Medicine for a BSc (Hons) degree in Acupuncture. The degree incorporates studying of both Western medicine and Eastern.

As an adjunct therapy, to aid with musculo-skeletal disorders, I studied and qualified in Thai massage at the Watpo Traditional Medical School in Bangkok Thailand.

Over the last 10 years I have undergone many different courses and further self study. This had lead me to specialise in

  • Musclo-skeletal disorders - such as shoulder neck and back issues
  • Psycho emotional issues - such as stress, anxiety and depression
  • Fertility.

I travel to India each year with the Charity World Medicine and treat hundreds of patients with the above problems. Word of mouth in the UK brings me many patients with these ailments.
